Role
Maria Farooq (she/her) is the USC’s Vice President University Affairs. In this role, Maria works to lead all internal advocacy to the university administration in order to develop evidence-informed positions on issues affecting students that are governed by university policies and programs. The VPUA actively listens to students’ ideas, concerns, and recommendations about the student and academic experience in order to ensure that equity, university policy, health and wellness, affordability and the quality of education are advocated on an annual basis.
