Student Feedback

The feedback portfolio’s primary goal is to understand students’ priorities and opinions on the USC’s various advocacy initiatives and programming. We find innovative ways to gather various perspectives to inform our actions and better serve students.

Getting Involved

There are many ways to help out the Feedback portfolio. We are constantly seeking feedback in order to best serve students. We collect feedback via surveys, in-person polling, video interviews, and focus groups. Please feel free to participate in any of our active projects linked below!

Focus Groups

The focus groups run by the USC are small gatherings of students that meet on a short-term basis to provide different perspectives on student-facing issues addressed by the USC. We use focus groups to better understand what students want and need from their student union. Participating in a focus group is an impactful yet low-commitment opportunity that helps the USC improve its advocacy initiatives and programming. Focus groups typically involve 20-30 students and run for 1-2 hours. You may also be asked to fill out additional short surveys or have one-on-one meetings with the focus group leader(s) depending on the project.

If you are interested in being a part of a USC focus group, please fill out the contact form! By doing so, you agree that you understand what focus groups are and the commitment they require.
