The University Students’ Council issued the following statement regarding the death of a Western student this week:
The USC is heartbroken to learn of the passing of Josue Silva, a second-year student in the Faculty of Social Science. Our thoughts are with Josue’s friends and family, and the fellow students who have been impacted by this tragic event. During this time, we must lean on one another as we mourn this loss as a community.
