Sabreen Kaur Sukhija is the Vice President University Affairs and is responsible for all aspects of campus-focused advocacy. Her portfolio develops evidence-informed positions on issues affecting students and liaises with University administration on academics, wellness, affordability, equity, and other issues related to the student experience, ensuring that student priorities are considered during decision-making.

Sabreen graduated with distinction from Western University with an Honours Specialization in Psychology with a Minor in Criminology. She was very active in student government and campus life, having served in numerous leadership capacities, including as the Associate Vice President of University Affairs for the USC, and Vice President of Communications for the Huron University College Students’ Council (HUCSC). 

Sabreen’s dedication to amplifying student voices and driving engagement is further reflected in her previous roles as Advocacy Commissioner for GEN Health USC, Student Engagement Officer at Huron University, and Marketing Intern with Career Development Service at Huron. On an international scale, she served as an Editor and Consultant Coordinator for Seeking Modern Applications for Real Transformation (SMART) in India, where she conducted policy research, crafted guidelines for their gender equality fellowship, and oversaw the publication of their South Asian Journal, SIGMA.

Sabreen strives to bring intentionality and measurable impact to every project, whether through storytelling, meaningful initiatives, or creating spaces where individuals feel genuinely seen and valued.

Originally from Delhi, India, Sabreen brings a rich global perspective to her work. Outside of her academic pursuits and advocacy, she loves to express her creativity through classical dancing, baking, and immersing herself in a good book.
