Vice President External Affairs 2026/2027

Stephen Titizian (he/him)

About

Role

Stephen Titizian is the Vice President External Affairs and is responsible for advocating to political and community stakeholders within the Municipal, Provincial, and Federal governments. His portfolio works with external advocacy organizations, such as the Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance (OUSA) where the USC holds a position on the steering committee; and CASA, where the USC is an observing member. Stephen collaborates with these organizations and other groups to elevate student priorities, and promote student civic engagement.

Stephen graduated from Western University with an Honours Specialization in Political Science. He has built a versatile academic and professional profile having served as the Speaker of the Social Science Students’ Council (SSSC), founder and former President of the Armenian Students’ Association at Western and as an Off-Campus (OC) Soph and a Programming Assistant for the OC Soph team.

Stephen worked as the Associate Vice President of External Affairs for the USC, was a New Student Experience Leader Intern on campus, and managed client relations as a Former Leasing Agent at Drewlo Holdings. Grounded in a commitment to global human rights and public service, he has also served as a Research Intern for the Armenian Legal Defence Front, and combined physical teamwork with humanitarian service abroad by participating in vital school renovation projects in Armenia.

Looking ahead, Stephen is dedicated to a career path centered on making a positive impact on the world and helping drive meaningful change, whether through public policy, legal advocacy, or international relations.

A Londoner “down to his roots,” Stephen loves spending time outdoors and hanging out with friends and family, including his named dog, Hokki (a creative play on Hokis, the Armenian word for “sweetheart”). He lives by the philosophy of living, laughing, and lobbying for the causes that matter most.
