This event will consist of an information table set up on campus to promote and distribute a campus-wide survey focused on attitudes toward schizophrenia. The purpose of the survey is to better understand students’ knowledge, perceptions, and misconceptions surrounding schizophrenia within the campus community.
Data collected from the survey will be used to identify common stigmas and areas of misinformation. These findings will then inform the creation of an educational poster aimed at increasing awareness, correcting misconceptions, and promoting informed and compassionate understanding of schizophrenia among students.
The table will serve as a low-pressure, informational space where students can learn about the purpose of the survey and choose to participate voluntarily. The survey will be done online.
