The CCGC Spring Festival Gala 2025 aims to create a vibrant and inclusive cultural event that celebrates the Chinese Lunar New Year while promoting cross-cultural understanding among students of diverse backgrounds. The gala will feature a wide range of performances, including traditional Chinese music and dance, instrumental performances, modern pop and dance shows, short comedy skits, and collaborative acts between Chinese and international students.
The event allowing participants to engage with Chinese traditions. There will also be free small gifts for attendees and a lucky draw session offering attractive prizes to create a festive and interactive atmosphere.
By combining artistic expression, cultural exchange, and community celebration, the gala hopes to encourage students to learn about and appreciate Chinese traditions while providing international students an opportunity to experience Lunar New Year culture in a lively and immersive environment. It also aims to strengthen campus unity by fostering friendship, inclusivity, and cultural pride within Western University’s diverse student community.
