Sudan Speaks: Stories, Insights, and Action

Sudan Speaks: Stories, Insights, and Action

This event will be a panel discussion focused on the ongoing crisis in Sudan and its impact on communities both locally and abroad. The program will open with brief personal reflections from five to six Sudanese students, each sharing their own experiences and how the current war has affected their lives, families, and futures. These testimonials will provide a human and immediate context for the broader conversation.

Following the student speakers, our invited speakers will each deliver a 20 talk on a topic related to their area of specialty, such as journalism, ways we can help, ommunity advocacy etc. Their contributions will offer deeper insight into the causes, consequences, and evolving realities of the conflict.

The event will conclude with an open Q&A session, allowing attendees to engage directly with the panelists, ask questions, and explore potential pathways for support, awareness, and action.
