USC Statement on the Death of a Student

The University Students’ Council issued the following statement regarding the death of a Western student last week:

The USC is saddened to learn of the passing of Olivia Vaseleniuck, a student in Year 1 of the Bachelor of Education Program. Our thoughts are with Olivia’s friends and family, and the fellow students who have been impacted by this tragic event. During this time, we must lean on one another as we mourn this loss as a community.
