Purple Frost 2019 with Shawn Hook and Virginia to Vegas

The University Students’ Council and Social Science Students’ Council, Science Students’ Council, Faculty of Health Sciences Students’ Council are proud to bring you Purple Frost with Shawn Hook and Virginia to Vegas.

Shawn is known for his debut hit single, “Sound of Your Heart,” which is now certified Platinum in Canada. His EP’s premiere single, “Reminding Me” (written by Shawn with Ethan Thompson and Jonas Jeberg, and produced by Stephen “Koz” Kozmeniuk) has already drawn national attention. The sensual ballad features Shawn in duet with Vanessa Hudgens, all grown up since her “High School Musical” days.

Singer, songwriter, and platinum recording artist Virginia to Vegas continued his stunning success in 2018, earning a Juno Awards nomination for Breakthrough Artist of the Year for his platinum selling hit “Selfish.” This came on the heels of his biggest pop radio smash “Lights Out,” as well as the platinum-selling hit “We Are Stars.” Virginia to Vegas is ending the year strong with his newest single “Yesterday,” which employs VIIV’s trademark indie-pop choruses and sticky electronic melodies.
