Latinidad: A Celebration of Latin culture and Identity

SALSA is wanting to celebrate a Latin cultural event through a collaboration with the USC, and we were hoping to use the West side of Mustang lounge and fill it out to make a really good experience  .

 

There would be two rows of booths, with each having a different activity or topic. We would have some booths focused on crafts, and one specifically for Dia De Los Muertos, in order to soft launch the upcoming holiday. There would be a section for more interactive games, like a chancla toss, a cactus ring toss, and giant jenga. To make this a learning experience as well, some booths would have more educational material, such as trivia, Spanish lessons, and general information with additional fun facts. Additionally, there would be booths specifically for clubs such as BRASA, CSA, WSO, and our own SALSA booth to encourage involvement on campus. If possible we hope to have some catering from the Wave as well, from different regions such as Spain, South America, and Central America.
