Pingback: Free Late Night Exam Shuttle | University Students' Council
Just wondering why there isn’t a shuttle to the Northeast section of the city?
Thanks for the question, Liz. With a limited budget, and time constraints on the possible routes, our research shows the posted routes accommodates the most students possible.
If we’re wrong, and there are a ton of students in north-east London, we’d love to hear from you. Please email usc.examshuttle@uwo.ca and let us know!
The date and time of the first Shuttle is Saturday, April 14 at 12:15am.
Does this refer to Friday night, 15 minutes after midnight?
Or does it mean Saturday night, 15 minutes after midnight?
There’s a ton of students that live in the apartments North East. That little segment of Shuttle D that reaches down Richmond/Huron and winds up in the middle of Adelaide could probably be altered so that you can reach NE of campus, seeing as that area is pretty much walking distance and 2 other routes service that segment of Richmond Rd. anyway.
I have taken the exam shuttle since it was introduced, and I’ve taken the earlier buses as well as one of the last ones. I always see exam shuttles lining up 10 minutes before their scheduled time in front of NS just before they turn left into Oxford Dr., so in a student’s logical perspective, I disagree with the ‘timing constraints’ you are suggesting. If anything, we should be getting rid of the Mercedes and use that extra money to introduce more buses, because people are always turned away due to the bus reaching its capacity.

Why isn’t there a shuttle that heads up to Brescia? It can be one of the scariest walks back…
The Exam Shuttle routes were designed to accommodate the greatest amount of students using the shuttles; and with that in mind, we are constantly looking for ways to improve the service. We’ll address your concern with Robert Q and see if we can’t come up with a route to accommodate your request.
Thank you for taking the time to offer your feedback.
Suddenly in love with USC for this- I had no idea there was a shuttle, so perfect! Thank you!
