The Vice President University Affairs of the USC is your advocate to the decision-makers. They bring up the issues that students face on a day-to-day basis at Western University. The Vice President’s team works on crafting evidence-based policy recommendations that work in the best interest for students, which the Vice President then advocates on, alongside the President, to enact change.

Coordinator, Student Awards and Recognition

The Student Awards and Recognition Coordinator works with the Teaching Awards Committee and Student Recognition Committee to organize aspects of each program and facilitate awards selection and ceremonies.

Coordinator, Student Appeals Support

The Student Appeals Support Centre (SASC) exists to enhance and help deliver a better education experience by providing confidential assistance and representation for undergraduate students facing an academic conflict with the university. The Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment and support of volunteers to operate the SASC.

Coordinator, Campus Campaigns

The goal of the Campus Campaigns Coordinator is to elevate the status of advocacy initiatives by developing and implementing at least 1 campus campaign per term to highlight advocacy work and to help develop grassroots support for advocacy initiatives.
