Program Overview:
Associates directly support a USC Executive in the execution of their portfolio which allows the Executive and AVP to learn from one another to improve existing processes and give new perspectives, which will benefit the student body at large. There are opportunities available in each portfolio so you can get involved in a capacity that caters to your interests. Associate Vice Presidents are paid an hourly rate for their work. Please note that these positions are full time hours for the summer and part time during the school year.
AVP Communications and Public Affairs:
Under the direction of the Vice-President Communications & Public Affairs (VP-CPA), the AVP will support proactive marketing and branding initiatives of the University Students’ Council. The AVP will be primarily responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing communications campaigns and initiatives, coordinating communication across the organization and associated student councils, and supporting the execution of the USC’s digital media strategy. The AVP will provide direct support, training, and leadership to the Campaigns Coordinator, Community Engagement Coordinator, and Brand Journalism Coordinators.
