New Admission Prices

Due to several factors we are raising our ticket prices by small amount as of Sept 2. Students will now be $4.25, non-students $5.50. Tuesdays will be $3.25 and $4.00. Children will be $4.00.

This is our first price increase since the HST was introduced in 2010.

    • As mentioned in a previous post we will no longer be able to offer senior’s discounts. Due to changes with Western’s Parking Services we are no longer able to offer Senior’s discounts. Most Seniors redeem parking which will now cost Western Film enough to create a loss on every ticket. Since we can now offer reimbursement for all shows at the closest lot to the building we anticipate an increase in redemptions.

      • Several points about your response concerning seniors prices. Many seniors (okay, this one) use(s) a parking pass)so I will never cost you anything for parking. Also, we might be buying two tickets but you would only be reimbursing a senior for one parking ticket. Finally, we buy popcorn and other refreshments which are huge profit centres for movie theatres. I urge you to reconsider your pricing vis-a-vis seniors who are on fixed incomes. I am sure you will lose more revenue by my wife and myself not viewing as many movies as we have in the past. Just sayin’.

        • Unfortunately you are the exception. Most seniors do redeem parking and many come alone. The vast majority do not buy any food. If they did we could have absorbed the parking charge and not have had to made the changes.
