The University Students’ Council of Western University is seeking someone to fill the Marketing Co-Op position for the Promotions and Commercial Partnerships on a full-time basis for a 1-year contract. The salary for the Marketing Co-Op is $41,003.68.

Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Promotions and Commercial Partnerships, the Marketing Co-op will oversee the Social Media and Marketing efforts of the USC. They will oversee the Social Media and Hype Team Interns to collaborate and coordinate social media efforts as well as street marketing campaigns to ensure maximum exposure for the USC. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, team facilitation skills as well as project management skills which would allow them to lead a group of students to develop campaigns and media efforts that support the USC. The candidate must also be highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment, be extremely well organized, detail oriented and have strong interpersonal skills with an ability to be adaptable and resilient. The successful candidate will be a current undergraduate student (students in all facilities are eligible to apply) or a recent graduate student who is looking to gain experience in marketing and communications.

Hours of work are 8:30 am – 4:30 pm from Monday to Friday however these hours are subject to change due to fluctuating operating hours. During peak periods the hours of work may be adjusted to accommodate increased workload. Occasional overtime may be required.
