First Year Students’ Coordinator
The First Year Students’ Commissioner’s job is to organize programs for first year students (residence, off-campus, and affiliates) throughout the academic year. Together ,with a selected executive and the Vice President Student Events, it is their responsibility to organize programming throughout Homecoming for first year students, the Champions’ Cup flag football tournament in late November and the first year Frost Week Event during the first week back in January. The first year commissioner is also responsible for sitting on Housing Communication meetings and maintaining constant communication with the residence Vice Presidents of Programming to ensure the execution of the most exciting and rewarding events to enhance first year student’s experiences here at UWO.
