Board of Governors

The Board of Governors (BOG) is the highest governing administrative body of the University, and oversees and directs all administrative and academic matters. The BOG establishes policies and constitutions, and is responsible for the student code of conduct. Each year, a student-at-large is elected to sit as a voting member.

The Senate
Senate is one of two main governing bodies of the University, and deals primarily with academic issues and concerns of the University. With eighteen student representatives both undergraduate and graduate, Senate serves as a student voice to Administration, advising the Board of Governors on matters such as budget planning, as well as playing a large role in University planning. Of the 14 undergraduate student senators, six are elected as voting members* on the USC.
